Let go and feel fantastic!!!

Breathe deeply and release all your physical and mental tension as you enjoy a therapeutic 90-min. session of exotic assisted stretches and rhythmic flows from an experienced and intuitive practitioner who is one of few certified Thai teachers in the country. No other style of bodywork will move you as deeply as Thai-Yoga Therapy.

Many people go through life exhausted from constant stress which drains their vital energy. Letting go of unneccessary tension allows your body to rest and recharge. Stress melts away as you breathe and enjoy this wonderful meditative experience. All of your body’s systems benefit from the physical and energetic stimulation they receive during Thai-Yoga Therapy, leaving you refreshed and revitalized on every level.

After your session, you will feel very light, loose, and relaxed. Your entire body will be mobilized and realigned. Long-term Thai-Yoga Therapy clients often get taller as their posture improves and skeletal compression is released. Many chronic aches and pains are also relieved as your body returns to its natural state of health and balance.

The combination of long-term professional treatment with your own Yoga and relaxation practice provides maximum health benefit. In recognition of this, all clients receive personalized home-practice stretches tailored to their individual needs. Christy also offers Mind/Body Personal Training for clients seeking to further deepen their own transformative process.

How Thai-Yoga differs from Western Massage:

One great advantage of Thai-Yoga Therapy is that this type of work is done wearing comfortable sports clothes. I don't need to rub oils on people's skin because I work at a much deeper level which affects all the body's systems and does not create uncomfortable friction on the skin. I work on a thick futon-like floor mat which supports the receiver's whole body and allows me to work in a variety of positions including supine, prone, side-lying, and seated.

Thai-Yoga Therapy truly address all the areas of the body, because I move the receiver in and out of various Yoga-like stretches and joint mobilizations while stimulating the body's energy lines with palm or thumb compressions. The result is a much deeper and more effective session which benefits all the body's systems and leaves the receiver feeling intensely refreshed and revitalized.

Thai-Yoga Therapy is especially effective for tense, muscular, and athletic types who are always craving a deeper release. The Eastern techniques of Thai-Yoga Therapy allow me to use my body weight, arms, legs, and feet, along with the receiver's body weight, to provide a deeply moving experience --- because in floor work, gravity is really on my side. The grace and power of this kind of work cause it to be described as a "healing martial art" or "lazy man's yoga ".
